Our story
Opened during COVID
Casa Cuomo Jakarta was opened during the COVID period — a truly difficult mission, because travelling was not possible. The final result has been very positive.
The adventure began with Chef Beng Pascal, Chef Salvatore Cuomo’s chef from Manila, and his Japanese chef Ayatsuka. Together they trained the Indonesian team that runs the restaurant today, led by head chef Amalia.
“La mia casa è la tua casa” — my home is your home: real Neapolitan pizza, handmade pasta and the warmth of an Italian family table, in the heart of Jakarta.

Three times among the best Italian restaurants in the world
Casa Cuomo Jakarta is the only restaurant in Indonesia in the 50 Top Italy list of the best Italian restaurants in the world: No. 29 in the 2024 guide, No. 27 in 2025 and No. 20 in 2026. For a country like Indonesia this is a very difficult mission — and a great result for the whole team.
